Leri Matehha  is an Estonian-German artist and filmmaker. 

She graduated from the Academia of Media Arts Cologne with an emphasis on media theory and cinema in 2019.

2020 she received a grant from the Wim Wenders Foundation for the development of her feature film debut "W".

Between 2021/22 she was an artistic researcher with a DAAD grant in Tel Aviv University.

She is finishing her hybrid documentary about post-Soviet immigrants of different generations in Israel.

She works as an independent director, writer and producer and her works have been exhibited and awarded at various international festivals, including IFF Rotterdam, Images Festival Toronto, Beijing, Hamburg and Clermont Ferrand.
